Biography
Carolyn White is managing partner at White & McCarthy, where her practice focuses on estate planning, long-term care planning, probate and elder law. She is certified by the Virginia Supreme Court to serve as guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults, and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
An AV-rated attorney, she is a past president of both the Richmond Bar Association and the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association and a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation. She is an accredited attorney for the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for veterans benefits before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Carolyn also serves as a member of the Powhatan Board of Zoning Appeals and actively volunteers with Legal Information Network for Cancer.
