Ronald Lee Livingston

LEE LIVINGSTON has a 25-year history of success helping people who have been harmed by the negligence of others. This has resulted in a long list of peer review awards including Best Lawyers, US News and World Report lawyer of the year, awarded in 2012, 2015, 2017, and 2019.

Lee was president of the Virginia Trials Lawyer’s Association in 2017-2018.

Lee has achieved multiple seven-figure verdicts and settlements by pursuing full justice for deserving people. In 2015 he won the first verdict by a patient against a doctor in Augusta County, VA.  He was brought in to help resolve a trucking case in 2018 for $30 Million. Lee's team won a $4 Million dollar verdict in a no offer case against the former chair of the states' largest orthopaedic group in 2019. Lee’s record of leadership and teaching responsibilities among lawyers highlights the priority he places on providing exceptional advocacy to his clients. He represents Central Virginia as an elected member of the Virginia State Bar Council. He has chaired the Virginia State Bar litigation section and the mandatory continuing legal education board. He was selected by The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia to work on a committee which writes and edits jury instructions for all Virginia cases. He chairs an evidence committee that publishes a guide to evidence distributed to all judges in Virginia. He has taught trial advocacy and trial evidence on professional liability law at the University of Virginia School of Law since 2002.

Most of Lee’s clients come to him on the recommendation of other lawyers who have referred their clients to him because they recognize his expertise and record of success. He is careful to limit cases so that he can attend to each client individually and develop a close relationship as an advocate with each person.
