I was in a really bad situation, definitely facing jail time for several reasons. I was very stressed out and thought it was very possible that I might lose everything. I came to Scott with a reckless driving case that every other lawyer in town told me was a long shot and then some. Scott Goodman lives up to his reputation beyond a reasonable doubt. I heard about him from a few friends, had it not been for that I would probably not have been lucky enough to retain him. I was facing 5 counts of driving on a revoked license in Virginia, punishable by up to 5 years in prison, 5 yea...rs loss of license, and a 12,500 dollar fine. The prosecution brought in multiple witnesses, and had photos of me allegedly driving when I wasn't supposed to...I was innocent but other lawyers assured me there is no way I could get anything better than getting four dropped and convicted on one, but I was confident enough in Mr. Goodman to put my life on the line. Scott Goodman redefines the term "reasonable doubt"... we pleaded not guilty, the trial lasted over an hour, and in the end I walked with a 200 dollar fine and court fees. Mr. Goodman brought in a judge from out of town and we felt that the judge's decision was very fair, I now will face no jail time, and no further loss of license. Mr. Goodman made me feel welcome in his office, he is easy to communicate with, and professional. He is going to be more expensive that other lawyers, but even then, you will still get MORE than you paid for. If you are lucky enough to get him to take your case, I would highly recommend you retain him, no questions asked.
