Elva A. Mason

Elva Mason charged me $6000 for making "12" hours of just phone calls. She did not file any of the paperwork that I needed for my divorce case. She did not listen to my needs as a client. She talked down to me and told me I should just accept whatever my ex-wife offered as a settlement. She did not a...ppear to know the laws regarding divorce in Virginia. I absolutely do not recommend Elva Mason.

She has been my lawyer since my child was 6 months old- my daughter is now 5. She has stood by me and fought hard beyond her requirements. She is a very easy going person and is so easy to reach no matter the time or day! I will refer her to anyone who needs a lawyer for custody/ visitation. She’s no...t in it for the money, she really believes in fairness and doing it for the right reasons.

I wish we had more attorneys/people like Elva Mason. Extremely clear communication, wonderful and professional to the beginning to end. She genuinely cared about my case and answered all my questions and takes her cases personal with over 30 years of experience. Straightforward, what you hear is what... you get. One of the best attorneys in the VA for family services. Would highly recommend her to friends in need.
