Albemarle County native, Kelly Roberts, joined the firm in 2015. She spent the first eight years of her practice in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area practicing civil litigation, with an emphasis in family law. After litigating family law cases for more than fifteen years, Mrs. Roberts now represents clients in the areas of estate administration, estate litigation, guardianships, conservatorships, and prenuptial agreements. Her primary focus is Estate work, which is what drove her desire to attend law school from a young age. After graduation from Mary Baldwin College in 2003 with her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Ms. Roberts attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, receiving her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2006. Ms. Roberts was admitted to practice in 2007 to the Virginia State Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Roberts had the honor of serving as Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia's Tidewater Office from 2008 until 2014, when she moved back to Albemarle County with her Husband where they continue to reside with their two children.
