Mr. Jacobs has over 25 years of experience in many areas of law. I hired him for custody/visitation and then divorce proceedings. He is a careful, thoughtful, reasonable attorney who was always formulating a case for me. He is highly accessible and listened to all my concerns, then guided me in th...e proper legal direction to best suit my case. He is well known and highly respected among the legal community and he knows the judges well, which is a plus when going to trial. I had a very difficult custody case and he handled it in a reasonable, professional, realistic manner. We did not win on certain points of my case, however, he is aggressive and a fighter. There are many qualified attorneys in Harrisonburg from which to choose, but I chose Mr. Jacobs when he was recommended to me by another local attorney. I asked for a recommendation for a real fighter, and without hardly pausing, the attorney making the recommendation gave me Mr. Jacobs as a first choice. My divorce proceedings are just as difficult, and Mr. Jacobs has been working hard already. He has consistently involved me in my case by going over his ideas with me, and allowing me to do certain paperwork, to save myself money by not having him do everything. He has truly been a Godsend to me and has worked with me and for me throughout this entire process. He may not be for everyone, but I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fighting, experienced lawyer.

ASK FOR WITNESSES AND HE WILL SUPEONA THEM THREE DAYS BEFORE COURT.. TELL HIM THE WAY YOU WANNA DO THIS CASE AND HE WILL DO IT HIS WAY. HE ...NEVER SUBMITTED MY EVIDENCE I ASKED HIM TO NOTHING.. WHAT A WASTE OF A LAW DEGREE.. WHENCPS IS INVOLVED YOU HOLD NOTHING BACK AND HE HELD EVERYTHING BACK... STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HIM AS YOU CAN ESPECIALLY IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILDREN BACK!
