Reckless Driving Nightmare Solved!

For a full-time college student who's pursuing a very demanding career in engineering, receiving a Reckless Driving Charge was my worst nightmare. I've never gotten a speeding ticket in my life, not to mention a charge for reckless driving. Coming from out of the state of Virginia, it was important ...for me to consult with a lawyer that knew the laws and rules of the area, had a significant amount of experience with these cases, and had great reviews online with desiring results. This is why I chose Mr. Bob Keefer. He was extremely responsive. I never felt like he was "too busy" to speak with me. When I called him, he immediately put my mind at ease, and he was very knowledgeable with the case and knew exactly what to present. His staff was extremely friendly and professional. Every time I called, my calls were answered and addressed the day of. Overall, there is no other attorney I would have went with. If you are currently facing a similar situation, I give my highest recommendation to Mr. Bob Keefer. He knows what he's doing, get's the job done, and will aid you every step of the way.

Reckless Driving Speed (88 in a 70)

If you are reading this and deciding on hiring Mr. Robert Keefer, you are making the perfect choice and will have no regrets! I was traveling south on I-81 passing through Harrisonburg, Virginia (70mph zone) and sped up to pass some slower traffic doing about 60 mph in the right lane. The cars com...ing up behind me were coming up real fast so I had to hit the gas to avoid slowing them down. When I pulled back into the right lane I saw the Police car with lights on coming up in the left lane. I was surprised when the officer pulled behind me. He said he clocked me at 88 in a 70 which is a misdemeanor charge of Reckless Driving Speed (88 in a 70). The officer also said that this is a criminal charge and I would need to show up in court. I work as a Defense Subcontractor and any criminal charge would result in my losing my security clearance and thus losing my job or 29 years. When I returned back home to New York I did some researching of Reckless Driving charges in Virginia and the charge is a serious criminal charge (one that nobody wants on their record). My research said that it is advisable to hire an attorney to represent me in court as a good attorney knows how to get charges lowered. After reading the reviews of several Harrisonburg lawyers, I decided to give Mr. Robert Keefer's office a call to get a consultation. I made this decision based on the hundreds of positive reviews I read concerning Mr. Keefer and his practice. When I called Mr. Keefer’s office I spoke to one of his assistants (Melanie). I expected that she would provide me the consultation or set something up for another day. Melanie ask me to hold for a second and I was surprised when Mr. Robert Keefer came back on the line. I told him the situation and Mr. Keefer told me he was confident that he would be able to get the charge reduced to a traffic violation. He then told me to continue my search for a lawyer and if I decided to use his practice, that he would be happy to represent me. This conversation with Mr. Keefer convinced me that he was the attorney I wanted to represent me. I told Mr. Keefer I would like to hire him as my attorney. He said there was no way for him to give me any guarantees, but that he was very confident he could get the criminal charge reduced. This conversation with Mr. Keefer helped alleviate some of the stress I was feeling. I hired Mr. Keefer and was asked to provide some documentation to help him represent me (Driving Record, Letters of Character, Awards, Volunteer work, Driver Safety Course Completion Certificate, etc.). I collected all the requested data and mailed it to his office. I was also told there was no need for me to travel back for my appearance at trial as he would represent me. When you add up what the trip back to Virginia would cost me (travel time – 7 hours both ways driving, tolls, gas, hotel for night, time off of work, etc) and especially having a top-notch Lawyer to represent me, his Fees seemed very worthwhile. Mr. Keefer just represented me on 9/28/16 and within an hour of my scheduled court appearance, I received an email with the results of my case. My Misdemeanor charge was reduced to Improper Driving with a $300 fine and $66 for court fees. This is a small amount of money when it comes to saving my career. THANK YOU!!! Mr. Keefer, Melanie and Lisa!!! I suggest you pick up the phone and call Mr. Keefer's office right now, you will not be disappointed.

No reckless driving on license.

Being my first time getting a reckless driving ticket, I was told that getting a lawyer would be a good idea so points won't be added to my license. Mr. Keefer did a great job reducing my ticket from a reckless driving to improper driving, and I didn't have to miss a few days of work to travel to anot...her state. I definitely recommend him and his team.

"wreckless driving" ticket lowered!

I was traveling on I-81 passing through Harrisonburg(60mph zone), When I got behind another vehicle driving side by side with a 18-wheeler and swerving. When we finally got pass the truck I was really frustrated and hit the gas pedal to pass the other vehicle and low and behold there just happened to... a cop sitting there and clocked me at 88mph. I have had a wreckless driving ticket in my past, so I knew what was about to happen. The last time I didn't really think about it and just got a cheap lawyer that done nothing, I still got wreckless on my record and had to pay a outrageous fine. So this time I paid more for a lawyer(Mr. Keefer) and he as well as his team were great!!! Well worth the extra money. He got my ticket lowered to improper driving and a little fine, I was really impressed with mr. Keefer's work. Definitely recommend!

Reckless driving reduced

I was on my first day of a three day road trip from New Jersey to Texas, I was trying to make good time so I was going a bit over the speed limit, got pulled over and unbeknownst to me anything over 80 is reckless driving, witch is a misdemeanor, in my line of work that would have been bad. Mr Keefer... and his law firm was recommended to me by another lawyer that could not take my case, I saw nothing but great reviews by him. I was shocked by the price because iv never had to hire a lawyer but way worth it considering my insurance won't go up nearly as much as it would have with reckless driving, he got my charge reduced to improper driving, witch was only a 350 dollar ticket, (reckless driving is commonly close to 800 bucks, plus points in your license) I am very pleased with the results of my case. Thank you Keefer law firm
