Matthew Aris Senyitko

Matthew Senyitko is an attorney at McCarthy & Akers, PLC, where he focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, Guardianships, and Conservatorships. He is passionate about helping individuals and families plan for the future, protect their assets, and navigate important life transitions with confidence and peace of mind. A lifelong student of history, Matthew developed an early appreciation for the lessons and stories that shape individuals, families, and communities. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from George Mason University, graduating magna cum laude and becoming a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society for history students earning their bachelor’s degree. Matthew focused his academic studies in law school on estate planning and estate and gift taxation, including strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families. Driven by a commitment to community advocacy during his time in law school, he also dedicated himself to the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, providing free tax return preparation and filing services to qualified individuals and their families. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Liberty University School of Law, where he discovered his passion for estate planning and property law. He ultimately graduated with an Area of Study Certificate in Property Law and received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grades in those courses. Originally from Clarke County, Virginia, where he spent his youth in Boyce, Matthew has called Winchester home since 2016. His deep roots in the region help him understand the unique needs and goals of the individuals and families he serves throughout the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. Outside the office, Matthew enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. Whether exploring new hiking trails throughout the Shenandoah Valley or relaxing by the ocean, he values opportunities to recharge and enjoy nature. He is also an avid home cook with a particular appreciation for Greek cuisine.
