Worst attorney ever

Miss Boyd was not only the most unprofessional attorney I have ever experienced. She was very incompetent. I have been involved in court for 30+ years. She would make the worst attorney look good. She did not know what she was doing. She did not know the law. During the court proceedings the judge ha...d to tell her on three different occasions that what she was arguing was not before the court to stop arguing it. Judge ask her. Did she have anything to say about what they were in court for. She told the judge know Your Honor. She would not listen to her own client, nor would she listen to others who knew more about the case than she did. If anyone is looking for an attorney to support them and give 100% she is not it. She did not do her research. She was not prepared even though she had the case for nine months. I could have done it better than she ever did and I’m not a good attorney again. Do not recommend anyone to hire her as an attorney as she does not know what she is doing.

Janet Boyd is a joke of a lawyer the absolute worst lawyer I have ever had. She will do nothing for you and seems to know nothing of the law or how to help people out of their situation

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
