Heather represented me in a custody case. She felt overwhelmed by the opposing attorney and asked me to sign a document one day before court releasing her from representing me. She made no mention of any refund on the $10,000 retainer already paid. I refused to sign the form. She showed up in cour...t and brought all my documents. Then she told the judge she couldn't represent me, shoved the box of paperwork toward me, and left. She's not someone you can count on.

I hired Heather for a civil case. She gave great council before during and after the entire process. With her on our case, we were well informed of everything ahead of court. As a Private Investigator I have worked with many lawyers over the past 18 years. Ms. Embrey is by far one of the best and most client oriented pit bull client advocates out there! I have read other reviews here and find them to be highly questionable. Espesially with ficticious names or "Anonymo...us". Such as works out of her car. Apparently, this person does not know many lawyers. Many lawyers will "Work out of their car" or meet a client someplace conveinent for both parties. But I can assure you that ms Embrey's client information is safe at all times. As for her "being all about the money", I guess that's why she's always doing stuff for people who have no money? Ms Embrey has helped many people whom I know personally. There are always some out there that feel that they did not get the results that they wanted. but in Court, sometimes, that's how things happen. we may not get what we want, but our lawyers get us the best possible outcome that they can. So before writing false reviews about a great person who helps so many, ask yourself... Am I better off than I was before? The answer will most likely be "Yes". Then why slander someone because your case or your testimony may not have been as strong as you said or thought that it was. Ms Embrey is highly recomended by clients who do not use these sites, friends, family, and colleagues. very experienced and honest. If you aren't willing to put your name to a review, it probably should not be trusted.

Heather Embrey was recommended by a colleague I work with, I met with her and asked her who she thought the best attorney was int he area for my case. She stated that no other attorney will fight like her. I retained her services. I am a busy professional, I hired her to put the roadmap together an...d assist with the details, You guessed it , it fell 100% on me. Where I became upset was when I was notified of the first hearing and I felt unprepared, never did she or her office reach out to me in the 2.5 month's they had my paperwork to state what was needed, she arrive disorganized and not prepared we looked horrible compared to the other attorney who was the opposite. She was brash with me and unprofessional. Court Case took place I stated to heather that we need a reset. three weeks pass, nothing, night before I get a email literally laying out the order, I had some disagreements and really wanted to discuss but felt stressed and under a time constraint. I asked her to fix some things. Midnight a email comes across basically advising me she is terminating our relationship. I must say, that I think this is her Mode of Operation 6,000.00 dollars later. I would say that Ms. Embrey is probably the most unprepared attorney I have ever witnessed and was horrible in front of the Judge. I would state to anyone please find an attorney that will guide you, will respect you and will have the professional experience and expertise to navigate you through this most stressful event.

The night before my Mediation case for my Divorce, Heather call me and told me she was not going to represent me I was really surprised I never expected to hear that the before Mediation since I have been working with her from 2012, Heather know how important this is been for me since all I really wa...nted was my Divorse. Last year I ask her why is taking so long and if she already file my paperwork, Heather told me she did, but the court lost my paperwork, so I decide to go down to the court and find out the status of my case and why I haven't received any papers with a court with a date, I was told that the paper was never file, for months I call her office living message behind message and she will never return my call, when I finnally was able to speak with her after months I told her I been calling her Heather replay by saying she was sorry she was having personal problems. Heather dropping my case the day before my Mediation put the other atterney license in Jeppordy since he did not know that she was not going to represent me the Judge was highly upset because she didn't now eather, I personally didn't now eather that I wasn't supposed to be there with out Heather because she told me I will do fine by my self.
