Mr. Carafiol represented Ms. D for a full-day divorce trial in the Circuit Court for Spotsylvania County. Among the issue in this case was a dispute over spousal support: Ms. D. was seeking spousal sup ... port with no set end date, and Mr. D was asking the Court to completely deny Ms. D's request for spousal support. At trial, Mr. Carafiol demonstrated the extreme difference between each party's income, and through cross-examination was able to compel Mr. D into admitting to an adulterous relationship and facts that placed him in contempt of the parties' child custody order. The Court ruled in favor of Ms. D and awarded her spousal support for life.
