I settled in Northern Virginia in 2005. I have lived in Arlington and Alexandria and represented clients as an attorney in Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Falls Church, Loudoun, Prince William County, Spotsylvania, and Vienna. I love Northern Virginia and think of myself as an adoptive Virginian.
I graduated from the College of William and Mary and then attended George Mason School of Law. At George Mason, I managed my school’s Moot Court program, taught writing for a year as a writing fellow, and served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association and co-Editor-in-Chief of our school newspaper. I also was a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal.
After passing the Virginia Bar, I worked for the Prince William County Circuit Court as law clerk for Judge Craig D. Johnston. After that, I spent two years at the Prince William County firm of Zelnick & Erickson, P.C. practicing civil and criminal litigation.
I am licensed to practice law in Virginia and admitted before the Eastern District of Virginia. I run a high-tech paperless office and utilize all forms of communication. I take pride in the fact that my clients are able to reach me at any time of day, whether by phone, text, email, Facebook, or Twitter.

Not like most lawyers
I had a question about a landlord-tenant issue, and was calling lawyer after lawyer to ask them about my situation, only to be ignored or told I’d have to pay around $300 for them to say ANYTHING to me. When I called Patrick, I was blown away by the fact that he heard out my entire case, laid out the...

Helpful and Responsive
Patrick was very responsive to my needs and walked me through the legal process. He knew what to expect and how to present the case. The result he obtained was as much as I could have hoped.

Patrick V. Foltz
Since my son's case was for a school hearing, I felt that the outcome of the case was what I expected given that Mr. Foltz made sure that I was well informed of possible outcomes. Mr. Foltz made sure that I was aware of what could and could not happen regarding my sons case. So I went into the hear...
