I can not recommend her enough and be thankful enough to her for her responsiveness, professionalism and support. I dealt with about 6 different lawyers/firms in my case before finding Ms. Shakil. Though I live many states over from her, after a few correspondences with her I realized that she would ...be excellent for the job. My case was basically stalled for ~2.5 years before she came along and helped make it progress much faster. I found her to be very knowledgeable with immigration processes. I also found her to be extremely responsive, especially giving her clients her direct cell phone that goes straight to her. In the times that I called her, she either answered the call right away or called me back within a few hours. Lastly, when my case was approved I felt a genuine sense of happiness from her as if the case of her own family member was approved. Even though I am many states over from her, she will have all my immigration referrals.

We worked with Moona for less than a year for an adjustment of status through marriage. Throughout the entire process, Moona was patient, attentive and shared insights that are not commonly known about USCIS. She and her staff work diligently to make sure your case is processed correctly and they set... you up for a smooth transition into being a permanent resident. Moona takes the time out to lay out all possible scenarios and is very straightforward with what needs to be said we weren't blindsided by anything. The day of the interview, it all went exactly how she had told us it would and she followed up with me til the day I received my green card in hand. I will be returning to work with Moona when it's time to renew my status and also to apply for citizenship and I recommend Moona to friends and family in the northern Virginia area.

Where to begin I don't know. I have approached Moona, who was unknown to me when my daughter had an issue of Change of Status from H-4 to F1, where we had to file the same after turning to the age of 21, due to some delay. I had a call with the known firms, who publish they are the best ones and char...ges exorbitant fee. I had only one question for them. Do you guarantee an approval, when you ask such amounts? The answer was -No. One thing I understood was that the firms are just to claim they are best. Finally, I had a talk with Moona in person and she worked on the complex case, at a reasonable fee and the Case got approved. My Experience is, Moona is by far the best lawyer . During the whole process, she kept us in the loop, informed at each response to USCIS with, quick replies, and provided an accurate estimate of how long the entire case would take. She was easy to reach, not like others who think only about the fee, even for 10 min conversation. She was very knowledgeable and paid the utmost attention to my daughter's case. Her welcoming presence and knowledge made me and daughter, feel like we were in good hands. Thanks too Moona we have received F-1 Visa approved. My case was employment based + Cross-chargeability Moona is very humble at the same time very professional, my case wasn’t easy despite being it an employment-based because my case was one of those cases which needed documents from 2 different countries because of Cross-chargeability And I wo...uld say her knowledge helped us getting our green card exactly in 4 months. She listened to us and pointed us in the right direction to gather all the required documents. 1. Very Response with all means of communication, Phone, emails or in the office. 2. Good listener, not like any other attorney who will keep asking you document they want but she was so involved with our case that she knew what all documents we have and what is going to be helpful for our case. 3. Importantly very reasonable fees, and moreover not at all money grabber, with our contract there was an additional fee if we wanted her to join for the interview, she was so confident that she told me that she may not be needed for interview, but my thought process was we would be confident with her presence at the interview and we insisted her to join us. Moona helped my spouse and I throughout the whole process of our marriage and filing for his green card, EAD and travel visas.
