OVERALL: Ms. Sparrow Reed was the perfect counsel and advocate for me and my girls, and she earned my highest recommendation possible. SHORT BACKGROUND: I had a very difficult, years-long, complex legal battle focused on custody, visitation, and false accusations of violating the court order. ... The opposing party was extremely difficult and presented confusing, nonsensical, and flat-out purposefully bizarre and noncompliant issues throughout the entire experience. And opposing counsel not only enabled and encouraged that behavior, but also was independently non-responsive, difficult, and in many instances incredibly inappropriate toward me (showing total unprofessional personal animus, even in court). Ms. Sparrow Reed was able to come in to this chaotic situation toward the tail-end (my prior counsel contracted COVID), get up-to-speed quickly, and was able to manage a truly nightmarish scenario with grace, professionalism, courtesy, and top-notch legal experience and knowledge. Dusty knows what she's doing; she was able to navigate an unpredictable (at best) court system, a nasty opposing side, and me (while I was a nervous wreck), all while conducting herself in the utmost professional manner possible. RESULTS: In the end, results matter: Dusty obtained for me almost everything I was asking for AND she won me additional rights that we weren't expecting and in some cases didn't ask for. She got me closer to finalizing this never-ending case than anybody else ever has. LOCATION: As somebody who used two prior Loudoun County lawyers and who had consultations with multiple others, I would strongly encourage anybody in LoCo (or surrounding areas) who can't find what they're looking for (or might be finding way too many close connections between all the attorneys/offices in LoCo) to reach out to Dusty. She's a much better alternative. Trust me, I know from trying. COST: Dusty is more fair and reasonable in her pricing than almost any other attorney/office I consulted with. Additionally, she is very good at paying close attention to cost matters and focusing her efforts only where they are needed most. Nobody likes paying attorney's fees, especially when you are the one trying to end the madness. But Dusty is as fair and as reasonable as you're going to find anywhere in the DC region.

I used Ms.Reed, services on a bogus P.O. That was granted to my ex-wife..I filed an appeal,and was looking for a lawyer to handle my appeal..I seen her photo online and my guy feeling told me to give her a call, turned out to be te best call I made so far..We had a full day of court..which was exhaus...ting.Mrs.Reed came in focused, and about her business, she won the appeal case..(she was awesome) , now I am going to use her services for the other hearings I have coming up. Mrs.Reed send emails to my ex’s lawyer, without me having to tell or ask her anything ..which made me feel so relieved that she actually cares about me seeing my son..She is awesome..and she is with every dime..she brings home results..

I recently went through a hellacious custody dispute in Loudoun County with my ex-wife that included false CPS allegations by my ex-wife and significant levels parental alienation, witness tampering / destruction of evidence, as well as an opposing counselor who repeatedly broke the law and would sto...p at nothing -- in an effort to protect his client (throughout discovery and during trial). The end result, Dusty was able to quadruple the amount of time I am able to spend with my children (as close to 50/50 as humanly possible given the distance we live apart), negotiate a fair child support order (reduced by nearly $900 per month), and was a remarkable source of stability during the darkest 11 months of my life. Dusty was the 3rd (and last) attorney that I worked with on my case that spanned nearly 16 months, having relieved both of the previous attorneys that were simply unwilling to fight for what is right - a father's equal right to shared parenting. She spent a tremendous amount of time before she ever took on my case understanding the history and dynamics of the situation which created immediate rapport and trust. Dusty's keen eye was able to spot and discredit so many of the dishonest / underhand tactics the opposing side was using. Don't work with Dusty if you are out to destroy an opponent and bend the rules in the process. Definitely work with Dusty if you want the highest level of ethical protection, character, and support. Word of caution - most judges will be able to tell the difference and will apply the fairest resolution with weight toward the party of character. The end result was the opposing side lost at every turn, a fair outcome was provided in the best interest of the children, and I am enjoying a tremendous amount of time with my children.

Dusty is my ex-wife. That is correct. I fully trusted my ex-wife to represent me and she executed perfectly in the case. Dusty assisted me in resolving an issue and I did not even have to appear in court once. She is a hard working Attorney who will go above and beyond to ensure that the needs of he...r clients are met. I highly recommend Dusty and would call on her again should I ever need an Attorney.

I retained Dusty Sparrow Reed for an uncontested divorce in early 2025. When she did the filing, she did not confirm that all the documents were successfully received by the Court. I did not learn about her mistake until 3 months after she supposedly filed all the documents. Once I caught the err...or after visiting the Clerk's office on my own, she finally filed everything and my divorce was finalized in less than 1 month. Her error and lack of follow through caused unnecessary delays. I would caution anyone considering her services and would not recommend her.
