I found Andrew through a recommendation by another attorney and I'm glad I did. As a quick summary, "grateful" comes to mind. Andrew's communication is stellar. Emails, calls, texts. There wasn't a time I didn't feel informed as to what was going on. Because another individual on my case was involved (on my side), Andrew worked with another attorney and it was seamless. From day one talking to Andrew, I felt comfortable. There was no delay in him reaching back out to me and we even talked over weekends to prepare for upcoming events. Andrew also made me feel confident without overpromising. He told me the facts. He gave me color on the court system, detectives, and prosecutors. I didn't have to guess at anything, and had to ask very few questions. This is always a tough process. Don't risk your rights and be confident in your decision. My objective was to seek consult on ticket that reflected an legislative inequality to certain drivers with insurance in the State of Maryland. It should be reviewed by the legislative body regarding WMAA. It should be reviewed by the courts but it not. Many drivers from Maryland have this problem per. the Officer issuing the ticket. Unfortunately I had to give up my right to work as a legitimate professional driver in Virginia and Maryland because the WMAA did not recognize my auto insurance that prevented me from receiving a Limo sticker denying my application. So I received two tickets in 2017 and one in 2019 on the same issue. In 2017 the presiding Judge dismissed the case if I produced the limousine sticker. So I paid the two tickets. Yet 2019 the case was dismissed if I show Ed proof of no For-Hire license plates. My Attorney without hesitating prepared the argument won my case for dismissal. My next step is to pursue through legislative means the unfairness of WMAA rule on insurance recognize by all states. For I did pursued as directed by the Judge to get a Limo Sticker... Awesome Attorney! I wish he could represent the next phases...

Andrew Stewart did a great job handling our case. He made very specific and useful recommendations that we undertook which led to a very favorable outcome.

A little background: I got ticketed in Alexandria for driving 44 on a 25 zone. I called Mr. Stewart's firm the day before my court date. Mr. Stewart was very kind and extremely thorough in giving me my options and went through them in great detail. In the end he gave me the best advice and without considering his fee. My thanks also go to the young lady who took my phone call for her professionalism.

My lawyer, Mr. Andrew Steward, was excellent throughout my process of obtaining his services and his representation for my speeding case. Andrew returned my initial call to obtain his services very rapidly and volunteered very useful information about my case that help understand my various options with pros and cons. He offered me a very good price since I had a very good driving record for the last five years with no major speeding tickets. thus making it easier to negotiate with the prosecutor for a reduction in speeding. Bottom line Andrew reduced my ticket by over 10 miles an hour, which resulted in reduced fines, no safety driving safety school class required, and no attendance required at court. He earned his five stars.

Andrew was an extremely loyal, respectful, and down to earth lawyer. He contacted you when necessary and definitely makes you feel a sense of ease. I was accused of something I did not do, and Andrew realized that. He tells you exactly what you need and when he needs it by. The day of court he was very professional and went beyond my expectations. We may have only been in court for a minute, but Andrew made it better! I recommend Andrew completely and if I was to ever need another lawyer he would be my go to!

Attorney Stewart was very professional in handling my case. He is a very trustworthy individual. He is very empathetic and sets aside time to listen to all the details we want to provide him. He tries to achieve the best outcome possible for his clients. I was charged with speeding 20 mph over the posted speed limit. He negotiated with the prosecutor and the police officer to get the number of points reduced from 6 to 3. The fine was also waived.

In my experience, Mr. Stewart will basically just tell you to capitulate to whatever the prosecutor wants. On multiple occasions, he did not provide necessary information or follow up, and was an enormous waste of time and money. Would have done better pro se.

I understand that Mr. Stewart has high-profile cases, but my experience with him was completely lackluster, to the point that I seem to could have represented myself to greater benefit. Mr. Steward failed to appear to my first hearing, and then only seemed to speak to the prosecutor 5 mins before the second hearing. At no point in time was there a particular effort to pursue my case at a higher level, even going so far as to refusing to pursue my own plan for defense. I regret taking Mr. Stewart as an attorney and hope this review dissuades others from making the same mistake I did at the cost of thousands of dollars. I ma so furious with this individual. He has not been involved since the trial - perhaps all the better.
