Komal Hameed Khan

I joined Roop Xanttopoulos Babounakis, PLLC, in the Fall 2016. Since 2012, I have focused my experience in all areas of family law, including cases involving divorce, child custody and support, spousal support, domestic violence and equitable distribution.

I received my Bachelors of Science, summa cum laude, in Psychology at George Mason University in 2011 and my Juris Doctor from George Mason School of Law in 2014. While in law school, I was a member of the Civil Rights Law Journal, George Mason Inns of Court and Virginia Bar Associate Pro Bono Society. In addition, I completed two externship programs with retired Fairfax County Judges Klein and Judge Alden. As part of the program, I interned at the Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office and Whitestone Young PC, where I focused in both criminal law, domestic violence cases and other family law litigation.

I use my strong oral advocacy skills and understanding of family law to best advocate for my clients in the courtroom. I also find it rewarding to work on solutions with my clients to settle their contentious and high conflict litigation. I was raised and currently reside in Northern Virginia.
