Biography
Susan is licensed to practice law in both the State of Virginia and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates sections. Since 1995, Susan has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is also a member of its Virginia Chapter. Susan graduated from George Mason University’s School of Law in 1989. Before starting her second career as an attorney, she worked as a government contracts specialist for the Department of Labor for 25 years. During that time, Susan received the Distinguished Career Service Award from then Secretary of Labor Robert B. Reich.
