I hired James to represent me as my attorney to steer me through the process of naturalization as a U.S. citizen. Following some initial email exchanges in which he explained the process clearly and set out the work he would do, I signed a Representation Agreement and paid his initial (and also fina...l) bill for services. We then had a lengthy phone call in the course of which he collected the majority of the information required for him to be able to submit the application paperwork (USCIS Form N-400) on my behalf. All subsequent exchanges of information and documents took place through the convenient and secure Clio Connect system. Having filed a Notice of Entry of Appearance as my Attorney with DHS, James received electronic notification of all notices also sent to me by mail. This proved especially useful when the notice to appear for final interview arrived far sooner than anticipated and while I was out of the country — James was able to notify me by email that I would need to attend this interview just several days after my return. All of my interactions with James were friendly, courteous, and efficient. It is true that my personal case for naturalization was far simpler than for many others, but James also did a good job of pointing out aspects about which to be especially attentive. His prompt responses to questions and his guiding hand throughout the process made it smooth and trouble-free, and altogether less anxious than it might otherwise have been. Finally, the fee I paid for James's services was wholly reasonable. Although I can speak only to my experience with James in this one area of law, I would without hesitation recommend him to others in the strongest terms.
