Trying to navigate the DC court system, including how to file a case, what to do, when, where ... it is very complicated. Most law firms I have reached out to required a 1-hour consult, requiring a fee between $200-400 dollars, all to even provide basic information. (And, I research a lot, so paying ...for what I can do on my own can be frustrating.) Mr. Pugh is a breath of fresh air, transparent and honest in his approach. We discussed the small claims process, what lawyers do, and when I should consider hiring a lawyer. He is quick to respond to inquiries, too. In a process where so much can be daunting, it is very reassuring to know there are lawyers such as Mr. Pugh in your corner.

He was found to not being truthful about making the necessary submission(MSA) to move forward. Caught him in a lie. Several weeks were wasted by where he was so slow to respond but promised everything was taken care of when he finally would contact back. I trusted him and believed we were all set aft...er my doubts had crept in since it was taking forever. Funny how contact was initiated when it was time to collect payment but otherwise hardly anything. Even the billing made no sense considering he was caught doing absolutely nothing once I started looking into it. Every single interaction we had showed on the final invoice. So petty considering how poorly something so straightforward was handled. Don't fall for his lawyer speak. I left him and found a different lawyer I'm 100% pleased with where things get done in a reasonable timeframe and with honesty minus the laziness.
