Sophia Chase Munson

Sophia Chase Munson is an Associate Attorney with a focus on small business, nonprofit business, intellectual property and estate planning matters. Prior to joining The Geller Law Group, as a post-graduate fellow for Cultural Heritage Partners, PLLC, Sophia assisted small businesses and nonprofits with organizational documents, intellectual property rights, and tax requirements. She also interned with The Scowcroft Group, a business advisory firm, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she gained insight into world of corporate law and experience in regulatory, compliance, antitrust, and anti-money laundering matters.

Before attending law school, Sophia worked as a legal analyst for King Street Capital Management, L.P., where she drafted confidentiality agreements, waivers of liability, vendor agreements, and engagement letters.

Sophia’s varied business background makes her a great resource for our small business clients. When she is not drafting contracts, Sophia can be found cooking, reading and spending time with her family in Chapel Hill, NC.

Sophia graduated cum laude from William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, VA, and was an Echols Scholar from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Sophia served as the managing editor for the William & Mary Business Law Review, and she is admitted to practice law in North Carolina and the District of Columbia.
