Last year, I was hit by a drunk driver who was driving without a license and my car was totaled. Thankfully, my injuries were limited, but my medical bills exceeded what I expected and the trauma of being hit stayed with me. In 2011 I was involved in a slip and fall incident, that left me with a broken ankle, 3 surgeries, and permanent damage. At the first meeting with Mr DePaolis, he explained to me in no uncertain terms that slip and fall cases are a 50/50 shot, and by no means an open and shut case; but also agreed t...o take me on as a client. I instantly felt he was someone I could trust, and after knowing how long he had been practicing and how well he was respected, I figured "well he must feel I have a somewhat of a chance if he is taking me on". Little did I know that due to unforeseen circumstances it would take almost 4 years to settle my case, but in January of this year we finally were able to receive a settlement. Throughout my case I was made aware of every single thing that was going on as it was happening and I was always asked if I understood or had questions, and was never made to feel unintelligent if there was something I was not clear on. His staff that I worked personally with were always polite, courteous, and extremely helpful (especially, and in particular Judy Ali and Patty Gray). If I ever had a question they always responded to me in a timely manner, and I never felt I was ever put on the back burner.
