Biography
Maryam has lived in the Northern Virginia area for over eighteen years. After graduating from high school in Iran she immigrated to the United States. She graduated form George Mason University with a degree in Psychology, and obtained her Juris Doctor from University of Maryland King Carey School of law.
Ms. Borjian has over five years of experience working in the legal field specializing in family law, criminal and immigration law. During her last year of law school, she completed a one-year externship program working as a Student Attorney at Office of The Public Defender in Leesburg, Virginia. Ms. Borjian has been active in various pro bono programs including Catholic Charities Hogar Immigrant Services. She is currently focusing her practice in the area of family law, criminal law, immigration and personal injury.
