This attorney did not follow proper guidelines and neglected to file paperwork with the court, thus causing us major hardship and many legal issues regarding our case. She also represented two parties simultaneously, while developing a contract between them. The attorney lied on the witness stand t...o protect herself and her practice, at our expense. Rather than being honest about the mistakes she made, her comments on the stand were stated as, "I cannot recall." We were devastated to encounter such unprofessional conduct from a reputable lawyer. This experience has left us high and dry, and quite frankly we have ill feelings toward the justice system as it stands. Officials of the court should be held to the same standards as a lay person and they should be held accountable for their actions and mistakes. We come from a small town and things like this just get swept under the rug. We do not want anything but the truth to be told, so we can move on with our life. We question the attorney's integrity and do not recommend that you hire her for any legal services. Justice is not blind, it is simply a discretionary act in which a single body views and enacts power through what they see as being just. We are mortified by this random act of injustice by our circuit court, and the American judicial system should be ashamed of themselves by allowing such a farce. Thank you.
