Dennis Murphy

Dennis Murphy is the Senior Partner of the firm and a seasoned attorney with decades of experience in both military and civilian legal systems. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1982 and graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1985.

From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Murphy served as an officer in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. During this time, he was appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, handling a broad range of federal prosecutions in the U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland and the Territory of Guam. His assignments included prosecuting criminal and traffic matters, and from 1988 to 1990, he served on the legal staff of the Superintendent of the United States Naval Academy.

In 1990, Mr. Murphy transitioned into private practice and established the firm. Since then, he has represented clients in both State and Federal courts, drawing on his prosecutorial background to defend individuals facing criminal and traffic charges, including high-level felony cases.

He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
