Biography
Mr. Healy began his legal career as a solo practitioner in 1982 and founded the law firm of Richard L. Healy, P.C. in 1991. Over the past 35 years, he has provided representation to thousands of individuals primarily in legal matters pertaining to criminal defense, DWI/DUI and other serious traffic offenses, domestic violence and wills and power of attorney. He is a trial attorney who has received intensive professional training in the art and skills of trial advocacy through the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Healy received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton in 1974. He went on to obtain his law degree from George Mason University School of Law in 1980. In addition to being admitted to all state courts in Maryland, Mr. Healy is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
A native Washingtonian, Mr. Healy is an alumnus of Gonzaga High School, a graduate of Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, and grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He currently resides in Frederick, Maryland.

Exellent Service!
