Mr Gast stood with me through a particularly tough transition in my personal life. He was responsive with communications and guided me through both civil and criminal proceedings. A year and some change ago, I came across the profile of Mr. Gast doing a search on trying to get a divorce in the state of Maryland. I didn’t know what I was doing, I didn’t know why this was happening in my life but I knew that I needed to move forward with my life without my husband and I knew tha...t I needed someone to help me navigate this process. My now ex-husband while not a bad guy just a very entitled guy thought that he could intimidate me in to giving him everything he wanted because we were married after he was the one having an affair for almost a year and the woman he was having it with tried to literally take my life. When I arrived at Mr. Gast office, with a walker after being injured, lonely, and so unsure of my fate I didn’t know then what I know now and that was he was going to take care of me and be my voice. After hearing what I believe was a familiar story to him but was a first for me he treated me with respect and humility. He asked the right questions, in the right way, he gave clear directions and instructions of what he needed from me and what I needed to do, he explained every possible outcome and gave me suggestions for each one and then advised how I should proceed. I left his office informed and confident that I was making the right decision putting my divorce in hands. A year and some change later, after what was the worst time in my life it is now the best time in my life. Mr. Gast did everything he said he was going to do, he communicated with me every step of the way up until the very end. I was able to get a divorce without all the ugliness and I know it was only because of the things Mr. Gast advised along the way. I would recommend him to anyone that asked and would share my story as one of a success. Thank you again Mr. Gast for amazing service and giving me peace.

I wish I would have seen the first review prior to obtainng this attorny. The only reason I selected him was because the ad stated that they were "affordable". That is far from the truth. You will have to hire a bankruptcy lawyer after he is finished with you. I was charged .15 hour @ $250 for 30... second voice mails. charged .25 hour for review of email sent, but never heard back from the office concerning the issues addressed in the email. Charged .15 hour for forwarding court notices. Unless you have money to burn AVOID this attorny. He doesnt keep me apprised of situations concerning my case, and charges above and beyond what I would consider reasonable.

Michael is a great divorce lawyer. He charged me very little to represent me. I feel like it was a free service considering other lawyers charge over 400 dollars per hour. Michael is very knowledgeable about divorce law and his years of experience are a big asset. He was able to accurately predict th...e outcome of the case. He helped me get custody of the kids and retain my property. Another very important reason why you should hire Michael is that, he is available over the phone at any time even after hours. He will respond to your emails or phonecalls even on a weekend in a reasonable manner. I know times where he has been up at 5 am to respond to a pressing issue. I would hire Mr. Gast again.

There should be more attorneys like Mr. Gast in our court systems. Mr Gast's straight forwardness and personality was a plus for building our client/ attorney relationship. Mr. Gast was very informative of our case options, along with suggestions and outcome scenario's. Very responsive to our custod...y case issues 24/7. Highly recommended.
