OUTCOME: Husband naturalized, Irene granted green card

Irene B. entered the US with a B-2 visa, and applied to immigrate as the wife of a permanent resident. She went to an unlicensed "visa fixer" who told her she qualified to adjust status, which was wro ... ng. She was placed into removal proceedings and came to see me. Her husband was nervous about filing for naturalization because 6 years ago he had claimed to be a US citizen when he crossed the border.
