Biography
I am a 1970 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with distinction (highest honors). While on active duty in the Navy, I attended law school at night, graduating with a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude (third in my class) in 1978. I retired from the Naval Reserve as a Commander in 1991. In 1994, I also received an LL.M.
I have been a practicing lawyer since 1978, having tried hundreds of cases and done hundreds of appeals.
I am rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
