Shelby Elizabeth Whale

Shelby Whale is an Associate at Reinstein, Glackin & Herriott, LLC. She was born and raised in the state of Michigan where she attended the University of Detroit Mercy for her undergraduate degree and graduated summa cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was a recipient of a Trustee Scholarship. During law school, Shelby was a managing editor for the Michigan State Law Review and received the jurisprudence award for her achievements in the Chance at Childhood Clinic. After law school, Shelby moved to Maryland to begin her career as an attorney.

Shelby focuses her practice on family law helping clients navigate divorce and custody matters. She understands both the complexities of domestic relations cases and the emotional aspects that her clients experience as well. Family law is a unique practice area that affects someone's daily life, and Shelby has a great appreciation for the impact that these cases have on her client's lives.
