It became quickly clear to me that she knows what works based on Law and her wisdom in the Annapolis judicial system. I came to rely on her judgement as she knew how to temper my comments in order to stay focused on a reasonable outcome. She was professional, brutally candid, and (when needed) tough as nails. My case started a little more than 7 years ago with divorce/custody. It started as a fairly normal case until my ex began being very obstinate, demanding and often aggressive. Monica was supportive, informative and personally helpful during the whole process. She made sure my son had the help and pro...tection he needed. The court case was difficult but she nailed it and I got the full custody that was absolutely imperative for my son, who has Asperger's, to live a normal life. Last summer his father kidnapped him and took him to Florida. Monica got an emergency hearing in record time, convinced the judge that it was, in fact, an emergency, got a warrant out for my ex and while it seemed an eternity, my son was back home in four days. I do highly recommend her and would never consider going to any other attorney.
