As the managing attorney of Patriots Law Group, Michael E. Lyons (“Mike”) offers both civilian and military legal expertise, honed over years of diverse practice. Mike began in Maryland courts, handling complex litigation spanning family law, construction, contracts, and criminal cases. In 2010, he was commissioned into the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving at Yokota Air Base in Japan and deploying to Afghanistan, where he advised on rebuilding legal institutions and managed court-martial prosecutions. Subsequently, as Chief of Military Justice at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Mike led high-stakes prosecutions. Returning to private practice, he founded and managed a successful litigation firm before assuming leadership at Patriots Law Group, where he directs business development and community outreach. Mike is a recognized authority on military divorce and military law, frequently training legal professionals and consulting on complex benefit division matters. His exemplary military service includes the Bronze Star and several other commendations. Mike continues his commitment to legal excellence and national service as a member of the Air Force Reserves.
