Elizabeth Ashley Pfenson

I retained Ms. Pfenson last year (after interviewing a few others) to fight a motion to modify custody. The opposing council was decidedly more “seasoned” and thought she could bully Ms. Pfenson with threats and such. All she did was get to see a real attorney at work. Ms. Pfenson proved that not ...only did the other attorney not know the Maryland Rules but also that the opposing side had made the terrible mistake of underestimating her skills. Ms. Pfenson was so thorough that his case was thrown out and he was ordered to pay a portion of my legal fees. Opposing council was flabbergasted. Ms. Pfenson is more than capable of handling everything that is thrown at her and carries herself with the utmost professionalism and class while knowing the intricate details of the law. Don’t let her polished look and pleasant demeanor fool you into thinking that she can’t go toe-to-toe with any other attorney. She is a formidable adversary and I would tell you that it is best to have her on your side than opposing you. On top of this, she is very personable, responsive, and easy to talk to. Seems unusual to find that combination of skills and qualities but Ms. Pfenson has them. I would recommend her to anyone dealing with a family law matter. I feel very confident having her on my side.
