One of, if not the, strangest cases I have ever seen. The trial in Washington Superior Court went on for at least 25 days over a period of at least three months. Then the case was fought in The Weste ... rn District of Washington Federal Court. The case included an illicit affair, gold bullion, forgery, perjury, alleged theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a book written by the plaintiff which was printed in three languages.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) was illegally influencing which companies were promoted for CPA review courses. Rigos and Becker were in competition for CPA exam student ... s and the AICPA was illegally promoting the Becker program. This promotion had nothing to do with the quality of the two programs.
