“Telling the client’s story is the most important thing I do. There is a story behind every client. That story involves how she has been harmed by someone else’s mistake. How his body has been damaged. How their family has been impacted. And why none of it should have ever been allowed to happen. My job is to learn each client’s story, and then convey it in a way that inspires the listener to help, and to give my clients justice.” 

Paul D'Amore is admitted to practice law before the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, the State Courts of Maryland, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, and the Federal Courts of the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Paul has tried cases to verdict in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Alaska. 

Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Boston University’s School of Management in 1992 and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University’s School of Law in 1997. Paul began his legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor for the State of New Jersey. Thereafter, he spent 8 years successfully defending doctors, nurses and hospitals in Maryland and The District of Columbia against claims of medical negligence.

In 2008, Paul decided he would rather help real people instead of rich and powerful insurance companies and hospitals. He resigned his partnership at a prestigious defense firm, and began representing injured people in their fight for justice against the hospitals and insurance companies that once retained him.

Since 2009, Paul has obtained millions of dollars in compensation for his clients in cases involving medical mistakes by physicians, surgeons and nursing staff in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
