Edward James Maher

I was a client of Mr. Maher's firm for 2-3 years. The firm filed Failure to Pay Rent filings in Baltimore County and Baltimore City for three company's that I manage. On 3-5 cases, the firm did not file the cases in a timely manner with the courts related to cases that I had referred to them and th...ey had acknowledged receipt and agreed to file for me. In the end the cases were refiled at my request but would not have been refiled had I not checked in with the Firm to obtain status. I did not like the manner in which I was treated and the fact that I had to be responsible for checking in with them after each case was referred to them to ensure compliance. I felt that a better system could be implemented and to preserve the relationship, I suggested possible mechanisms to prevent such mishaps which were rebuffed. In end I was verbally abused via email and I was blamed for the cases not being filed timely/properly.
