I recently had the privilege ...of working with Mr. Sharif Silmi and his phenomenal team—namely, Meerim, Maryrod, and Marylaine—to secure an approval for my EB1A petition. I had the honor to work with Attorney Sharif on my O1A petition and it is with absolute pleasure that I write this glowing review about my experience with him and the team. I consulted with Attorney Sharif after meeting with several other law firms and terminated my contract with another firm to ...then start working with him. Right from the first meeting I was super pleased to see how Attorney Sharif approached the case. His approach honored authenticity and genuine material in my petition, this was so rare to see as every other law firm wanted me to use cheap gimmicks (paid press, paid judging events (!) and more) to trick USCIS into approval (as if USCIS is that naive). He understood my evidence and guided me with a case strategy. Upon submitting all the evidence to the team, they used the Attorney's directions and painted a very beautiful picture of my case to the USCIS, and we were approved without any RFE. We did run into hiccups due to USCIS administrative errors. USCIS has fallen a bit behind on agent training for the new fees structure and sometimes erroneously rejects applications stating “incorrect fees”. This happened to us, but Gabriela and team handled the issue swiftly and USCIS accepted their mistake and retroactively honored the previous submittal date. I was a bit shaken because I was at the end of my grace period but the team had full confidence and I am glad I followed their instruction to reapply. I would recommend anyone who is considering “Extraordinary Ability” visas to go talk to Attorney Sharif, there are so many “courses” out there especially with the rise in popularity of the said visa, but in my opinion, there is nowhere else you could better spend your valuable money and time for a best shot at your petition. I have consulted Mr. Sharif Silmi about 4-5 times for a variety of immigration issues (H1b, H4 RFE, visa approval, covid travel bans, I-94, Eb1a, Eb1c etc). I myself had very detailed knowledge of immigration issues that I consulted him about, but ran into corner cases which were beyond what most peo...ple have experience with. Mr. Sharif is an expert at immigration issues and he understood the exact situation and complicated problem within just a few minutes and gave me pin pointed advise on the best possible way forward. He gave best and worst case scenarios and a couple of times pointed out the blind spots which were even more uncommon but still good to remain aware of. Mr. Sharif is quite busy with multiple clients and consultations on his calendar, but for urgent issues with a deadline he and his assistant were able to find 30min time slot and provide the consultation.
