Charles E. Kountz Jr.

Charles E. Kountz, Jr. was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1970. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore. He served as Assistant District Attorney from 1971-1975, Deputy People’s Council, 1975-1978, and a member of the House of Delegates from 1979-1983. He was Chairman of the Baltimore County Lawyer Counseling Committee; a member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City; the Lawyer Counseling Committee, Family Law Committee, Maryland State Bar Association, Attorney Grievance Commission, Federal and American Bar Associations, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, Governor’s Commission on Condominiums, and the Governor’s Commission on Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Central Maryland, Baltimore County Volunteer Fireman’s Association, Lansdowne Volunteer Firemen’s Association,  Mr. Kountz is a board member and serves as legal counsel to Western District YMCA of est Leadership Team. VICE CHAIR and vice president of trustees on the board of trustees at The Community Collge of Baltimmore County.  Mr. Kountz has been the one of the FIRST LEADERS AND  innovator and DIRECTORS of the NEW COLLABORATIVE LAW FOR FAMILY LAW AND DIVORCE. His law firm is engaged in the general practice of law with emphasis in the Collaboative Law,  family and criminal cases.
