Biography
I became a lawyer to stand up for people who feel overwhelmed, dismissed, or targeted—and I’ve carried that mission through every stage of my career. I started with the Office of the Public Defender, where I was mentored by skilled trial attorneys and defended thousands of clients in criminal matters, including serious felony cases. Later, I moved into personal injury litigation and quickly found my calling. Since 2003, I’ve helped injured clients recover compensation after car crashes, falls, dog bites, and other events that can derail a life. I’ve watched insurance companies treat injured people like problems instead of human beings, and I refuse to let my clients be pressured into unfair settlements. I also represent clients charged with DUI and related offenses, where a conviction can mean jail, fines, license suspension, and even job loss. My approach is straightforward: listen closely, respond quickly, and fight relentlessly for the best possible outcome.

DWI DUI
Elan was so knowledgeable it down right scared me. I later realized it was due to his professionalism and experience. This was my first offense at the age of 55, initiated by an abusive spouse. I came out a winner on both proceedings.

Good
Elan was very helpful in a criminal trial for my love one. He worked with me on payments and kept the family informed as much as he possibly could. I don't know what the outcome of my love one would have been if he didn't have legal respresentation from Mr. Rafael.
