Neil Warren Steinhorn

As homeowner association president, we engaged Mr. Steinhorn to do our collections at the recommendation of our property manager. Mr. Steinhorn was very difficult to contact, did not return phone calls, ignored repeated emails, and failed to collect a single dollar in delinquencies over two years. O...ur delinquencies continued to increase. He filed a few suits, but failed to collect on the judgments that were entered and we subsequently found out that he was filing suits for the incorrect amount of arrearages. (He apparently just made them up, as they amount for which he filed was incorrect and not based at all on our actual dues.) Multiple residents complained that they would call him to make payment, only to be asked to call back later. In my view (as a lawyer), Mr. Steinhorn failed in many of his ethical duties under the rules of professional conduct. I would not recommend him to anyone.
