After graduating from Loyola College in 1978 with a Bachelor's in accounting, Mark spent two years sailing on the original Pride of Baltimore. Once back on dry land he began working for the Internal Revenue Service in December 1980. By the end of his tenure with the IRS he had been promoted to a GS-13 Revenue Agent and spent time on the Quality Review Staff where he reviewed the work of other Revenue Agents.
Mark earned his J.D. from the University of Baltimore Law School, where he spent time on the University of Baltimore Law Review. He has spent over 35 years representing individuals and businesses before the IRS and the Comptroller of Maryland. As a former Revenue Agent he knows every way to resolve a tax debt and has a high rate of success. He also represents clients setting up Limited Liability Companies and 501(c)(3) organizations. Though he has been scaling back his work in family law, he still consults on matters relating to tax matters in divorce and separation proceedings.
Outside of work Mark is an avid outdoorsman and history buff. He has summitted Mount Washington, Rainier, Whitney, and Hood with his two sons. and goes sailing whenever he gets an opportunity.
