Alexis L. Holiday is an Associate Attorney at Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A., where she has practiced exclusively in family law since January 2020. Her practice encompasses all aspects of domestic litigation, including complex divorce, custody disputes, child support, and post-judgment modifications.
Alexis approaches her work with the steadfast belief that family law is about real people, not just statutes. She is committed to ensuring her clients feel empowered and supported, serving as a high-stakes advocate in the courtroom and a steady, empathetic guide throughout the legal process.
Alexis earned her Bachelor of Science from Towson University, graduating magna cum laude from the Honors College, with a concentration in Criminal Justice and a minor in Chemistry. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2019, where she was a Rule 19 Student Attorney in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic. During law school, Alexis served as Production Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and served on the Honor Board.
Following law school, Alexis clerked for the Honorable Dennis M. Robinson, Jr. in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. This clerkship provided her with invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process.
Alexis has sought out rigorous continuing education available to family law practitioners in the United States. Her training includes the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Institute’s Advanced Program in Chicago, the AAML’s Negotiation Seminar in Boston, Best Interest Attorney (BIA) training, and 40-hour Civil Mediation training.
A recognized leader in the Maryland Bar, Alexis was named a Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2025 and 2027. She is a lecturer on emerging legal issues, presenting to the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association and Harford County Bar Association on topics ranging from new divorce grounds, child support updates, discovery and more. Recently, Alexis was published in “Protective and Peace Order Cases” in Maryland by the Maryland State Bar Association and presented to the State Bar on the topic. She previously has served as the Chair of the Baltimore County Bar Association’s Family Law Committee and currently serves on the Maryland State Bar Association’s Family Law Section Council as an at-large member and co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) committee.
Originally from New Jersey, Alexis has proudly made Maryland her home. Outside of her practice, she enjoys gardening, home renovation projects, and spending quality time with her husband, their son, and their dog.
