Diana Kay Hobbs

Diana Hobbs is an attorney at Murphy, Falcon & Murphy, where she brings prior experience as both an lawyer and a registered nurse in Baltimore to the firm’s medical casework.

Ms. Hobbs has successfully represented individuals nationwide who were killed or injured through the actions of defendants, including those of doctors, healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes, product manufacturers, and distributors. She has worked on numerous cases resulting in multi-million dollar awards.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Hobbs was a nurse specializing in the areas of emergency medicine, labor and delivery, and intensive care. Shortly after that Ms. Hobbs switched directions and moved from direct patient care to medical management – specifically hospital risk management. While attending law school, and immediately after graduating, Ms. Hobbs held the position of Director of Risk Management and Legal Affairs for a local health care system. Most recently, Ms. Hobbs was the Director of Risk Prevention and Mitigation for a large Baltimore Health System.
