Ms. Britton received her bachelor's degree from the Towson University in 2000, majoring in Psychology & Political Science. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2003.
Following graduation, Ms. Britton had a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert E. Cadigan in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland. After her clerkship, Ms. Britton was an in-house attorney for Nationwide Insurance for 2 years as a trial attorney, and an in-house attorney for Progressive Insurance for nearly 10 years. She has tried hundreds of cases in courts across Maryland and now uses her inside knowledge of how insurance companies work to fight on behalf of personal injury victims in Maryland.
Ms. Britton is licensed to practice law in Maryland. She is a active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and Baltimore County Bar Association. She has served as the Young Lawyers Chair for the BCBA, as well as the chair for the Public Awareness Committee twice.
