Biography
The backbone of Jenkins Block & Associates is its dedicated staff. When the firm started in 1977, we had two employees. Now, we employ over thirty people in four office locations, covering the states of Maryland and Virginia. Our Baltimore, MD, Cambridge, MD, and Richmond, VA locations are ideally located in the same complex as the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review which is where the disability administrative hearings take place. Our Hagerstown, MD practice has expanded to include the Western Maryland city of Cumberland and the surrounding area. In Cambridge, MD, our office is located next to the local Social Security Administration office. will not take difficult cases
I contacted Mr. Block about a disability case. I explained to him that this case was going to be an unusual case and most likely require a hearing to win. He did not want to get involved in the case.

Replied last September 17, 2015We bare willing to take cases with merit. If a person does not qualify for SSI and has a very remote date last insured meaning they must prove they became disabled ore than say 10 years ago and they don't recall there treatment sources we generally would not take that case. Most cases these days do go to hearings so this comment is way off base.
