hired Mr Lawrence for a criminal case for my husband.. he misled up on what his game plan was... he asked us to pay the retainer and he would get started... never did... come time for court and he was due to enter his appearance he never showed up.. claimed he was in an automobile accident by never... notified the court as he said he would... luckily things worked out and the case was postponed... afterwards when we fired him he would not return my calls to give us our money back... he did nothing to earn the grand he was given.. and now will not return any calls to settle this matter... PLEASE DO NOT SET YOURSELF FOR FAILURE

Joseph Lawrence was at first an attentive attourny. He would call and keep me informed. The problem occurred once the court dates started. No call no show to two of the court dates. I felt left out in the cold. I would call and text to find out what was going on. He wouldn't return my calls or even t...ext me back. He was also supposed to combine cases, another epic fail on his part. I started receiving collections from the one case he told me I had to open in the beginning. I am still not finished with my divorce because I can't get ahold of him. I have to finish this case without an attourny. So it was a waste of my money, paid out to a lawyer that only opened the case. The settlement happened because I was done and needed this to be over. I could have and did do a better job by myself. I don't recommend this lawyer to anyone. Once my case is closed I will be filing an official complaint against this lawyer. I repeat DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER

Great price, very polite and friendly but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Don't expect him to have an office (no big deal), don't expect immediate return calls or in my case none at all. He did represent me in three cases; child support, joint custody and a restraining order and he su...ccessfully was able to meet my needs. I would of gave him 4 stars a cross the board if he just returned my phone calls a little sooner rather than weeks later and in my last case at a minimum emailed me vs disappearing. Payment on my behalf was never an issue. I was left clueless and that's something I wouldn't recommend anyone do to their clients.
