Excellent Attorney, Excellent Staff

When I first Ms. Framm regarding my workman's comp case, I had no idea what to expect. Ms. Framm gave me very clear expectations and time frames. It was a very unique and difficult case and the other side did a lot of bullying. Rhonda stood up for me time and time again. She gave me a voice, supporte...d me and helped me in ways that go far beyond what an attorney "needs" to do for a client. She fought for me during the many hearings and decisions that had to be made. Her office staff, specifically Katrina were fantastic. They were always there to clarify, answer questions and give me the "next steps". I am very thankful for everything they have done and would recommend her office to anyone in need of a tough attorney that won't back down to the big organizations.

Overcharged, disappointed, feeling violated

Initially, I thought that she was heaven sent understanding the emotional devisitation my family had suffered and that she would surely help me. Ms. Framm did help me spend more than $50,000, which also included my retirement, and my case dragged on with no end in site. She argued with the other atto...rney, the Judge reprimanded both attorney's and the lack of communication only inflammed a very bad situation and cost me more money. I begged and pleaded with her for closure and that I was not able to spend any more money which fell upon deaf ears. I felt robbed financially and emotionally and that my life and well being meant nothing to her at all.

Read your retainer forms

This was the worst experience I had of someone that was supposed to be working in my behalf. I trusted Ms Framm, so I signed a form without completely reading it. This form was her retainer form. Yes, completely my fault. I've learned from this experience to never assume...even if that person outward...ly appears to have your best interest and is representing you. We went over every legal document verbally and concisely. Great prep, Ms Framm. Yet the retainer form that was slid to me was given no verbal explanation. Why should it. Attorneys are by-law to only charge 33%.This is what I thought. Wrong! I never batted an eye and just went on and signed it. Yes, again my dumb fault. I just figured there was no need to read another exhausting document. After the trail and having been issued my minuscule portion of the award check, she informed me that when a case goes to court, the percentage does indeed increase. Ok... but her percentage turned out to be 50%. That did not include her transportation to and from court, parking, office supplies, hours doing this and that. She even charged me for every document to be copied, at .40, from her office copy machine. Had I known that I was being charge for that practically 1 foot stack high of copied documents, ahead of time... After receiving my piece of cut up award and storming out of her office, I did a little research. I polled others who had similar cases as mine, along with many web researches. I found not one personal acquaintance or testimonies or blog posted on the web that revealed their attorney charge them 50%; on top of miscellaneous fees. I did see ONE, where as an attorney charged their client 40%. Not one, from my research did I come across an attorney that charge a 50% retainer. Initially, I planned to just take my lose. But, more and more I felt that others should be warned to be very much on-guard of this outwardly adorable, smiling attorney and others like her. Read everything! Take nothing for granted!

Busy but attentive

I was concerned because my case was already filed by another attorney and nothing had really gotten done. She explained to me what I could expect, which I appreciated and always returned my calls after she got out of court or at night. Email works really well when I was worried she always got back to... me.
