He did not do Discovery in my case. This put me at a grave disadvantage. He conspired with the other side because they knew that the other side did not have a strong case. He and the opposing lawyer dragged out the case for several months accomplishing nothing but taking thousands of dollars. They pr...ompted frivolous emails that did not move the case. Once they knew my spouse was willing to fight for custody-then they dragged it out even more. Alan did nothing in regards to custody. On the one hand he said the judge is not going to listen to a young teen but then he did nothing to get me any visitation. After several emails asking him to do something-His TRUE colors were revealed. I noted that another client wrote a review about his nasty, rude, belittling, and disrespectful temperment was on full display. He talked to me like I was a child. He threatened to upcharge me if I continued to ask him to do something about my access to my child who my spouse continues to alienate me and my child is struggling. After several months of nothing-He decided that he was not a good fit for me. After I paid him thousands for NO DISCOVERY-(Every lawyer knows this is imperative to do) He DECIDED TO STRIKE HIS APPEARANCE!! This is the start of my uphill battle. So, even if I hire another lawyer-He did not do DISCOVERY! Set me up for paying another lawyer THOUSANDS for work he did not do. He had the audacity to send me more bills. He touts himself as a family lawyer. He and the other lawyer did nothing to bridge the gap so my spouse and I could do what was best for our minor child-Instead this lawyer was going to help wage a war in a court battle. In the end,. He did NOT DO HIS PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES handling my case. Anyone can write reviews. I wish I would have did what my gut told me after I read the one star review that gave me an uneasy feeling about him. Sadly, he talked a good game at the beginning to get hired only to have me shut down due to his complete MEAN AND NASTY Temperment he unleashed!!
