I went through a tough time over multiple years and Shannon was absolutely everything I needed in legal counsel. I can’t say enough positive things. She genuinely cared about me and my family and I felt like we were a true collaborative team. I could be very open with her and I always knew she would ...tell me what I needed to know/hear, even if it was hard to stomach sometimes. She stood up for me and handled things when life was all around hard and I couldn’t keep track of all of the legal issues I had to be on top of. While her hourly rate was not cheap, I noticed that she was very fair in how she billed me. She never overbilled, which unfortunately was my experience when she was on maternity leave and I had to temporarily have another lawyer. I have to say that although I tried a few different counsels during that time, I was so eager and thankful when she returned from leave- none were as thorough as she was. I will be forever grateful to her for helping me through that tough time in my life.

I came to Shannon after going through a bad experience with an other lawyer. The earlier lawyer had misguided me and had done everything to prolong the case as much as possible to make money out of me. The worst part was she was not even responsive to me. So i started looking for a lawyer again and f...ound Shannon in Avvo.com. All the positive comments made me to reach out to her. In our first appointment, she provided me all my options the positive and negative of each option. She also had my best intention in her mind when it came to spending the money for lawyer fees. She would always respond to me in a timely manner (i have received emails at 11 in the night). She would never force me or scare me to do anything that I don't want to do or i was uncomfortable doing. She was also very patient with me. She has great personality and is great to work with.
