I rear ended truck and paid 750 out of 3 estimates then he now asking for another 1000, weird since only hit him at 18 -20 mph?

Why are you not dealing with the insurance carrier? It sounds like you are being take for a ride. Unlikely there was an additional 1000 in damage.

Sounds like they are obligated to sell the car for that amount. Push the issue i dont think they want you reporting this.
