Astrid M. Quiñones

Astrid Quiñones is a passionate attorney who zealously advocates for her clients in and out of the courtroom. As the daughter of immigrants, Astrid is passionate and eager to represent her clients with the American immigration legal system. Astrid received her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University in 2014. She graduated from Syracuse University School of Law in 2018, after receiving the Seely Johnson Award for the embodiment of the highest ideals of professionalism, integrity, diversity, and leadership, and being selected as a national member of The Order of Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy. She also received her Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs in 2018.

Prior to joining Portner & Shure, Astrid worked for various legal service providers in the DMV area serving immigrants and families in domestic violence, family law, and immigration matters. Astrid works tirelessly to get results for her clients. Astrid is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Beyond the courtroom, Astrid enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and dancing merengue, salsa and bachata. She is a choral singer with the New Waves Singers of Baltimore. Astrid is the proud dog mom of two rescues, Zora and Aroz, and aunt of six nieces.
